  - 2023-02-12 adf: fix non-unique IDs per https://github.com/legumeinfo/datastore-issues/issues/153 using datastore-specifications/scripts/add_IDs_to_gff_features.pl --clobber CDS
  - 2024-02-01 sbc: Split annotations into four haplotype groups (hap1 - hap4), to facilitate calculations of pangene sets with annotations on eight chromosomes. Scaffolds are partitioned in equal numbers in the respective hap1 - hap4 files.
